Warranty Coverage – Caterhut
At Caterhut, all equipment supplied is brand new and backed by a manufacturer’s warranty for complete peace of mind.
What’s included
Unless otherwise stated on the product listing or invoice, all products come with a minimum 1-year commercial parts-only warranty.
- Replacement parts supplied for manufacturing faults
- Warranty provided directly by the manufacturer unless stated otherwise
- Coverage applies to UK mainland orders only and once goods are fully paid
Warranty Types
1-Year Parts Replacement Warranty
Faulty parts will be replaced free of charge. Labour, installation, and call-out costs are not included.
- Defective parts must be returned within 14 days
- A refundable deposit may be required before dispatch of replacements
Back-to-Base Warranty (where applicable)
Certain items must be returned for repair at the customer’s cost.
Parts & Labour Warranty (if purchased)
Where specified, repairs are carried out by approved engineers with prior agreement.
What’s not covered
Warranty does not cover:
- General wear and tear
- Misuse, neglect, or incorrect installation
- Damage caused by third-party interference or unauthorised repairs
- Consumable parts (e.g. seals, bulbs, handles, glass, hinges)
- Damage from environmental factors (water, fire, voltage issues, etc.)
- Loss of stock, food, or business interruption
Important conditions
- Equipment must be installed and used in line with manufacturer guidelines
- Regular cleaning and maintenance is required
- Warranty claims may be rejected if installation or usage is incorrect
- Any engineer call-outs not covered under warranty will be chargeable
